The Lord will sustain us, and when we are stressed out and worried we can cast that burden on him. Psalm 55:22Ĭast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you, he will never permit the righteous to be moved. When we think we know what is best and lean on our own understanding we get lead astray, we need to acknowledge God in everything because he is working for our good. God will make our paths straight, but we need to trust in him and what he is doing in our lives. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Every morning we can get up knowing that God is faithful and is working for our good.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are new every morning great is your faithfulness. For when I am weak, then I am strong.Įven though we face hardships regularly in our life, we have confidence in Christ that even when we are not strong enough, God is working in us, and giving us strength. 2 Corinthians 12:10įor the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
God is with us today, which gives us the confidence to be strong in the Lord. God is commanding Joshua here to be strong and courageous as he is leading the Israelites into the promised land. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. We are encouraged throughout scripture, but in 1 Thessalonians we are also reminded to encourage others and build each other up. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. We can be still knowing God will be exalted on the earth. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!Įven when things are uncertain, we know that God is in control, and we can take comfort in that.
